2020 has been a year for the history books. The pandemic has definitely made this a memorable year filled with ups and downs. For many households, the pandemic has led to a paradigm shift with respect to the purpose of a home. Many of us felt the four walls of our home get smaller and smaller as we tried to incorporate work and childcare into the mix.
As a result, more households have been on the move in 2020 – searching for a home that will better fit their expanding needs. This focus on the home has created a fast-paced real estate market with prices going up an average of 8% in Jacksonville. As we enter 2021, we are unsure how the pandemic will continue to affect the market now and for years to come.
The demand to buy and sell has created numerous growth opportunities for my business as well. I want to take the time to thank each of you for the support you have shown over the past year. I love what I do and enjoy getting to help families on their real estate journey. I appreciate each of you for continuing to entrust me with your real estate decisions and that of your family and friends.
Each one of you has helped my business to thrive in 2020. For that, my family and I are truly grateful. I pray 2021 is filled with great memories and good health for you and your families!
